In preparation for your pageant, you have thought of everything from head to toe, you exactly know what clothes to wear, what footwear and what your make-up would be, but one thing that you have overlooked is colour of your Nail Polish.
It may not seem like a big deal, but it is as important as any other styling for your pageant. Always remember to choose a colour that is age appropriate and not distracting because you never want anything to distract judges, especially not something as a small as your nail polish colour.
What Nail Colour Should You Wear For A Pageant
Stay away from bright colours
Red nails or black nails may otherwise be good but not good if judges find it too distracting. Designs and Nail art would be really cute but definitely is pageant is not the place for it. Keep it simple darling or you may have to KISS that beautiful crown goodbye!
NEUTRAL and NATURAL
The most suitable colour for your nails is neutral and natural. Shades of nudes and browns are trendy and not distracting too. Choose a colour that goes with your skin tone and Matches your personality. Stay away from sparkles and shimmers.
NAIL SHAPES
We are living in the area where nail shapes have become form of expression, and a point of social media craze, however in beauty pageant latest nail shape trend may not be good decision but classic nail shapes are preferred.
A stilleto or coffin shaped nail, while are very trendy, could be distracting to the judges if you are very close. Keeping your nails in classic shapes like square, round or oval decreases the chances of having distracting nails. Also, keeping your nails Just above your fingertips in a natural length is also less distracting.
