How do you make your own vocabulary: Reading is imperative, read anything that you can lay your hands on. It helps you to form sentences easily. Be a good listener,  when you listen well the words that constantly fall upon your ears help you frame sentences when you want to.
Words have the power to touch hearts
If you find it difficult to make phrases,  sentences,  couplets listen to BBC news, one can actually work on its vocabulary if one watches news channels and pick up some good English words that are spoken and absorb them.
Many times we have words and ideas in our head but we cannot speak that’s because we are short of words.
Words have the power to touch hearts. Only reading can improve and increase your vocabulary.
We have to keep learning newer words. Add one word to your vocabulary every day.

  • Weak – feable
  • Serious – solemn

Keep looking for new words whenever you also learn how to pronounce them.
Downplay your weakness and fortify your strength.

A vocabulary is a set of familiar words within a person’s language. A vocabulary,  usually developed with age, serves as a useful and fundamental tool for communication and acquiring knowledge. Acquiring an extensive vocabulary is one of the largest challenges in learning a second language.

Reading vocabulary: A person’s reading vocabulary is all words recognized when reading.  As and when one encounters a new word while reading a new word makes its place in your vocabulary.
  • Listening vocabulary: It comprises words recognized when listening to speech.
  • Speaking vocabulary: A person’s speaking vocabulary comprises the words used in speech and is generally a subset of listening vocabulary.
  • Writing vocabulary: words used in formal essays and social media feeds. A writer may prefer one synonym over other and make a good vocabulary for herself.
